The U21 Men's Continental Championship will be held in Gatineau from July 5th to July 10th, 2016. Established by NORCECA in 2006, it will be the second time that the biennial event is held in Canada.

This event will serve as a qualification for the 2017 U21 Men's World Junior Championship in Brno, Czech Republic. Canada will be looking to secure a spot through this event for the fifth time in a row and qualify for the Men's World Junior Championship.

During six days, fans will have the opportunity to see some of the best up-and-coming volleyball players in North and Central America and Caribbean. 

This event includes the host country (1), the top five (4) ranked teams of the NORCECA Ranking including the three (3) Zonal Champions from the AFECAVOL (Central America), ECVA (Eastern Caribbean) and CAZOVA (Caribbean).
