2014 Junior Men's National Team Program
The purpose of the Junior National Team Program is to identify, select and train a group of young athletes who have future Senior National Team potential and offer them the opportunity to train and represent Canada in international competition at an earlier age. The intent of the program is to train for and compete in both the 2014 NORCECA Junior Championship in El Salvador.
All athletes MUST:
Be born in 1995 or later
Be a member of your Provincial Team and attend the National Team Challenge Cup (NTCC)
Be Canadian citizens and have a valid Canadian passport.

ATHLETE IDENTIFICATION & SELECTION
In order to be identified and selected, all athletes will have to be members of their Provincial Team and attend the 2014 National Team Challenge Cup (NTCC). The event will be held between July 15-20 at the Centre Sportif in Gatineau, QC. Final selection of the top 12 to 14 athletes will be made at the conclusion of the event. These top athletes as identified by the Selection committee will then continue training in Gatineau.

All athletes selected to the Junior team will be nominated for Sport Canada carding for a minimum of 4 months at $900/month. Athletes will also receive tuition support.
All athletes selected to the Junior team will be required to pay a $2,000 program fee/fundraising obligation. The money that is raised from these fees will be used to offset travel, training and competition costs for the program.
