2000 and 2002 Standing
Disabled Men's Team

Team

The Team won the Silver Medal at the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney, where a hard-fought final saw an experienced German squad defeat a young Canadian Team in three tough sets. This defeat fuelled the fire and the drive to become the top ranked team in the World.

At the 2002 World Championships, they came together and worked towards a common goal, with coaches, players and staff buying into the game plan and sticking to it, demonstrating that it’s truly incredible what a team can accomplish when it strengthens as a unit. As a result, they won gold.
