17/18U Fulltime Training Centre Beach Winter Program November 2012 - March 2013


The FullTime Training Centre beach program will be providing 18U athletes who want to take their development under the supervision of the National Program, the opportunity to train year round. This program is geared towards athletes that want to take steps to best prepare themselves for future opportunities to represent Canada at U19 World Championships and beyond.

 

Training Program:

  • November 26th- March 31st, 2012 (No Sessions- December 22nd- January 6th  and statutory holidays)
  • Regular weekly training with the FTC at the Volleyball Canada High Performance Facility, Downsview Park offered 4 days per week.

 

Female Defenders:

  • Thursday 4-6:30pm
  • Friday 6:30-9:00pm
  • Saturdays Afternoons- Tournament or Skill Session (TBD)
  • Sundays 9:00-11:00am Skill Session with match play in the afternoon

 

Female Tall Maples:

  • Tuesday 4-6:30pm
  • Friday 6:30-9:00pm
  • Saturdays Afternoons- Tournament or Skill Session (TBD)
  • Sundays 9:00-11:00am Skill session with match play in the afternoon

 

Male Defenders and Tall Maples:

  • Tuesday 6:30-9:00pm
  • Friday 6:30-9:00pm
  • Saturdays Afternoons- Tournament or Skill session (TBD)
  • Sunday 11:00am-1:00pm Skill session with match play in the afternoon

 

4 training sessions offered per week including Saturday Tournaments. Athletes can attend based on their personal schedule at one cost.

Cost: $800 +HST

 

Includes:

  • Training sessions provided by Full-Time Training Centre coaches, and National Team coaches
  • Practices along side Beach National Team at Volleyball Canada’s High Performance Facility, Downsview Park.
  • Athletes are guided by coaches in preparation of their training and competition plans
  • Conditioning and agility program (TBC)
  • Ontario provincially identified athletes are also eligible for sports medicine coverage off site (select clinics)
