The organizers would like to thank the Bison Women's Volleyball Club who had five 14U teams competing in that category, playing with a 'Triple Ball' competition format as a test opportunity for the Manitoba Volleyball Association.
Members of the Women's National Team were on hand over the weekend for autographs and also had opportunities to sit on the benches during games for some of the participating teams. The National Team athletes also ran a skills competition on the Saturday afternoon, with over 250 athletes taking part. At the same time as the skills competition Women's National Team Head Coach Arnd Ludwig presented on some athlete development topics at a coaches luncheon attended by over 30 of the participating coaches.
Volleyball Canada and the Manitoba Volleyball Association would like to thank all the participating teams, as well as the referees, volunteers and staff for making the event the success that it was and we look forward to making the event even bigger and better for next year.
