‘MTS Super-Spike Smashes Records With $118,000 Raised in Support of National Women's Volleyball Team’
WINNIPEG (August 7, 2012) – ‘MTS Super-Spike presented by Bud Light’, is thrilled to announce that it has smashed records again, raising an incredible $118,000 in support of the National Women’s Team through this year’s eleventh annual event. A further record 342 teams took part in this year’s Super-Spike, which took place July 20th and 21st at Maple Grove Rugby Park. Over 700 games of volleyball were played over the two day event, with ten different bands & various DJ’s performing at what has become one of “Super-Spike has again lived up to its track record of being one of the best summer events that

‘MTS Super-Spike’, which combines Manitoba’s largest outdoor/beach volleyball tournament with a weekend long concert series set in a festival atmosphere, has raised over half a million to date in support of the Winnipeg based National Women’s Volleyball Team.
